Vintage Serpentine Sofa

From the archive: Featured on the cover of the 1950 Kagan Dreyfuss catalog, an original Serpentine sofa and Fire Side chair sit side by side in an all-Kagan room. Many of the pieces produced for this project went on to become signatures of Vladimir's oeuvre.

Custom Back-to-Back Sofa

Art collectors work tirelessly to curate the display of the works they love. It is essential that furnishings supplement this work, rather than distracting from it. This sofa was designed custom to sit freely in the center of the room, enlivening the space and creating a perfect vantage point to enjoy every piece of art in the room.

Omnibus Sectional

An Omnibus I sectional sofa furnishes this home designed by architects Anthony and Anne Woolner in 1973. The modular sectional pieces are brought into conversation with the gridded supports that structure the home's space age dome. By complimenting the architecture’s geometry, the furniture not only fills the floorplan but truly enhances the unity of the space.

Floating Curved Sofa & Barrel Chair

Mid-Century Modern meets Romanesque in this ethereal interior located in Istanbul, Turkey. Rough-cut stone that lines a restored 15th century barrel vaulted ceiling resonates with and contrasts against the smooth, sensuous lines of the Floating Curved Sofa and Barrel Chair. The refined juxtaposition of modernity and tradition create a harmony within the space that demonstrates that good design is truly timeless.

Omnibus Interior Landscapes

Consisting of 23 modular elements, this series offers you the ability to create an infinite variety of “Interior Landscapes.” The Omnibus is available in a tight or loose, tufted seat, floating on Plexiglas plank legs.

Vladimir Kagan with an Omnibus I

"Chairs are uniquely the best expression of design. They encompass more of the challenges by which I live and work than any other single component of furniture."
